›How do I upgrade to Pro?
Open the app, hit the Pro button, and pick Annual or Lifetime (one payment, forever) — the purchase runs through Apple's in-app StoreKit sheet, so it's billed to the Apple Account you already use. Pro unlocks instantly and removes the export watermark everywhere.
›How many Macs can I use Pro on?
Your subscription follows your Apple Account. On another Mac, sign in with the same Apple Account and click Restore Purchases in the Pro window — no license keys to copy around.
›How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from Apple's subscription settings (System Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions, or the App Store). You keep Pro until the end of the paid period; there's nothing to uninstall.
›Can I use free-tier videos commercially?
Yes — expressly permitted. Everything you record or export is yours on both tiers, and free-tier output (watermark included) may be used for any lawful purpose, commercial work included. The only rule: the watermark may not be removed, cropped, or covered — watermark-free exports are exactly what Pro buys.
›Where exactly does the watermark appear?
Only on videos produced by the processing tools (Studio, compose, subtitles, redaction, background removal, enhance, GIF export): a small semi-transparent Wispframe mark in the bottom-right corner. Raw recordings are always clean — unlimited length, full quality, no watermark, on Free too. Pro removes the mark from processed exports as well.
›Does the app phone home?
No usage analytics, no recordings, nothing. Purchases and restores are verified by Apple's StoreKit; everything you record stays on your Mac.
›Can I get a refund?
EU customers have a 14-day withdrawal right. Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are requested via Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com); see the refund policy for details.
