Boilerplate

Wispframeis an ultra-low-overhead screen recorder for Apple Silicon Macs. Built in Rust on ScreenCaptureKit and VideoToolbox, it records 4K at 60fps using less than 1% CPU by keeping pixels on the GPU from capture to encode in a zero-copy pipeline. It records system audio and microphone simultaneously, composites 2–9 sources onto one canvas, supports iPhone cameras via Continuity Camera, bakes privacy redactions (including on-device face tracking) and a Studio “framed” look directly into the encoded file, and survives crashes losing at most two seconds of footage. Wispframe is free forever with unlimited recording and every feature unlocked; processed exports carry a small watermark, which Pro removes for $29.99/year or $79.99 once. All demos on wispframe.app were recorded with the app itself.
